Choco-Story Brussels

The Choco-Story Brussels Museum offers you the opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of cocoa and chocolate, from the collection of the bean to the finished chocolate product. You will discover everything around the history of Belgian chocolate, watch a demonstration by a master chocolate maker and taste different kinds of chocolate.

Darcis Chocolatier

Jean-Philippe Darcis is a Belgian pastry craftsman and chocolate maker based in Verviers offering tasty chocolate combining tradition and creativity. Step back in time to learn all about the origins and evolution of chocolate and admire the chocolate craftsmen at work in the workshops.

Charlemagne Chocolatiers

Located in Herstal, the Charlemagne chocolate factory aims to make chocolate by placing the excellence of the product at the forefront. During your visit, you will be able to find out more about the origins of chocolate, observe the stages of its production but also taste outstanding creations.

Laurent Gerbeaud

Laurent Gerbeaud, a Brussels craftsman is committed to selecting the cocoa beans carefully and then working them in the most natural and artisanal way possible. This master chocolate maker welcomes you to his workshop to help you discover his method of making quality chocolate.

Millésime Chocolat

The Millésime Chocolat workshop is located in Seraing, in the province of Liège. Here, vintage chocolate is made directly from cocoa beans. This artisanal producer opens its doors to let you discover the secrets of chocolate making, from the bean to the bar.

Belgian Chocolate Village

With the help of an interactive and playful exhibition, you can discover the history of chocolate. This museum is located close to Frédéric Blondeel’s workshop-chocolate factory in Koekelberg. Belgian Beer Chocolate Tour lets you to combine a visit to the museum with the chocolate factory. You will discover how cocoa beans are roasted and you will be completely immersed in the world of chocolate production.

Frédéric Blondeel

Known throughout the world, Frédéric Blondeel is one of the best Belgian chocolate makers. In 2019, he was voted the best chocolate maker in Brussels by Gault & Millau. He roasts the cocoa beans himself to obtain the taste and consistency he wants. BBCT invites you to visit the chocolate factory in Koekelberg in order to discover both the roasting process and the work of the master chocolate maker. You will have the chance to smell cocoa and understand the different textures. This is accompanied by numerous tastings.

Deremiens

You can visit the Deremiens chocolate factory and taste the many delicious chocolates. Based in the heart of the village of Prouvy in Gaume, François Deremiens has been a chocolate craftsman since 2005. He has a passion for chocolate which has allowed him to develop his business and in 2007, he opened a new workshop covering more than 4,000 sqft. Thanks to a large bay window overlooking the workshop, you will be able to observe the different stages of production.

This visit is combined with a visit to the Orval Abbey just next door.
